HOME BUILDING PROGRAM
VET 22 has a strategic alliance with Team Global House. Team Global House’s Objective is to make a meaning difference in people’s lives by providing affordable housing with a humanitarian focus to families in need. Which enables a family to “Live with Dignity and Peace of Mind rather than Surviving Day to Day.”
The Global House was developed to meet the demands for affordability, durability and energy conservation by leveraging the most current technology enabling integration of progressive designs.
Team Global House expressed objective is enabled by partnering with Borkholder Buildings & Supply Company – owned by Dwayne Borkholder – whom has 55 years of experience, has developed Borkholder Hybrid Building System, which has produced the strongest and most economical residential buildings. Borkholder Buildings & Supply Company has received many National Awards for Design and Innovation.
Engineered Structures – developed with wood or steel – are specifically designed for Hurricane, Earthquake and Storm Prone areas of the World. Such unique engineered “Hybrid Timber-Frame” System allows the house to withstand Hurricanes, Earthquake and includes “Anti-Termite” treatment.
The Global House System allows for the flexibility to add features and options that tailor the finished product for the area it was designed. For example, adding the Hybrid Insulation Feature makes it suitable for extreme climates, Hot or Cold. In addition, the adding of Thin Film Solar to Steel Roof Panels can create a Net Zero Home that is either Off-Grid or Grid-Tied. A small amount of solar can add energy independence or stabilization to undependable infrastructure.
Such Affordable Housing is readily transportable, nationally, within the United States of America, to help Veterans.
To that end, one such possible approach for consideration would include the “Tiny Living Village Community Concept” which Dwayne Borkholder and his company – Borkholder Buildings & Supply – designed.
Specifically, within the United States of America, the “Tiny Living Village Community Concept” would provide Veterans and their families HOPE and the opportunity to “Live with Dignity and Peace of Mind rather than just Surviving Day to Day.”
- Such aforementioned “Tiny Living Community Concept” would provide a “Community within a Community” which provides a safe, stable, family oriented environment.
- The very same “Tiny Living Community Concept” could be established in cities, towns, within selected, under-served urban communities which would provide quality living solutions for our Veterans.
Finally, in addition, equally important, employment opportunities are created within the respective geographic community being developed.
Specifically, the very same Veterans that would benefit from such Housing, could also be trained in the construction of such “Tiny Living Village Community Concept” and enjoy the dignity of learning such a craft/trade that could lead to long term employment moving forward.
